BRIEF Explore Bangkok city and find an abandon space with potential for growth. Showcase the value of the area by creating a service there.
#Awakeningdragon is a service located in ZY-WALK, the abandon neightbourhood in the centrum of Bangkok, created to showcase the potential of the neighborhood and make people use the area again.
The service provides a public studio where people can drop by to meet others and express themselves by taking part in creating a public art piece. The creation will each month be followed by a public exhibition party. #awakeningdragon will be initiated and facilitated by students from Chualongkorn University.
This project gave me a great insight in cross disciplinary cooperation a cross cultures. It was a pleasure to work with the students from the Chulalongkorn University. We shared knowledge and builded a strong team together.
